I remember when I first jumped ship to the Mac (from Linux I might add) about 4 years ago. Camino back then fitted what I thought was the “stripped down version of Mozilla” for the Mac model. When Firefox came out and started to gain traction I thought Camino would fade off into obscurity, especially as both projects resided at the same “home”.
Not that that particularly bothered me. I love Safari and I’m usually willing to accept any compromises that let me keep using it as my sole browsing app.
