A couple of my photos on Flickr have been picked up by the online travel guide, Schmap. I feel famous already…
One at the Imperial War Museum in London. And the other of the Beehive here in Wellington.
I guess that makes me a published photographer… right Rowan?

Well, I think your picture is by far the best one there (Imperial War Museum). I hope they paid you. If they didn’t then you were ROBBED. If they did then, yes, you are now a published photographer. Congratulations.

I’ve just been schmapped but I suspect this business is not what it sets out to be at all. Where is Schmap’s website or even its physical address? Does anyone know Emma Williams, the managing editor? Has anyone seen a published calendar?
How about the idea that this is just a variation on a phishing expedition with the goal of getting you to click on the link they have embedded in the email?

There’s quite a few of us (that I know of at least) that have put their photos on Schmaps.
Their website: http://www.schmap.com/
The links in my post above show the photos I had accepted…
