Ok then…

You’ve got to be kidding me! Sarah and I recently opened an account with TSB. While they do have an Internet banking facility, it’s pretty simple. I decided to have a look at the source of their webpages and then I saw this:

<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 2.0">
<title>TSB Bank HomeBank</title>

You’ve got to be kidding me!!!

What does that mean Umami? Your account is unsafe?

Not at all! Sorry, geeky post…

It means they used an ancient tool when they were building their web interface. Frontpage 2.0 was released some stage in the mid 90′s. In web terms, it’s 100 years old… it’s kinda scary *someone* is using it – and that someone turns out to be your bank!
